Powell English Testing

If you are taking the test for the first time, select "First Attempt". If you have taken the test before, select "Retest".  Only select "Proctoring Centre Retest" if you've been specifically instructed to do so by Powell English Testing.

Your login information will be valid for 90 days.

Photo Identification Upload

Some examples of photo identification include a driver's license, passport, status card, or BC ID card. Please take a close-up photo of your ID. Do not include yourself in the photo. Ensure that your picture and birth date can be seen clearly. You can cover up any other information if you wish. The photo may be shared with your academic institution to confirm your identity.

No form of spell checking and/or grammar checking in any language is permitted during the test. This includes spell checkers that are built into your computer and/or Internet browser as well as downloaded applications such as Grammarly.  It does not matter if the tool is actively used or not. It is the test-taker's responsibility to turn off all spell-checking devices before beginning the test.  If any words are underlined in red during the test, a passing score cannot be achieved.
